Tiny Clusters Scarf Pattern

Adapted from “The Big Book of Crochet Stitches” By Jean Leinhauser & Rita Weiss

Suggested Yarn:
Red Heart Super Saver,  Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft or similar 4 ply acrylic.

Hook: Size H or I Crochet hook

Special Instructions for Single Crochet Cluster (scCL):
Draw up a lp in each of next 3 sts, YO and draw through all 4 lps on hook; scCL made.

Instructions:
Chain 41 for scarf (makes about 12 inches wide scarf.  Pattern states chain multiples of 2 + 1 used.)

Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across.  Chain 2; turn.

Row 2: Sk turning ch, *scCL over next 3 sts, ch1; insert hook in last st of prev scCL; rep from * across, end with sc in last st; ch 2; turn.

Row 3: Starting in base of turning ch, *work scCL over next 3 sts, ch1; insert hook in last st of prev scCL; rep from * across, end with sc in turning ch; ch 2, turn.

Rep row 3 for pattern, approx. 3 inches for scarf
